The Black Girls Code: Raleigh-Durham Summer Camp offers a week-long, immersive experience for girls aged 10-17, focusing on game development and AI. Through an exclusive partnership with Endless Access, a youth-focused game-making studio, campers will delve into the world of professional game development. They will learn game design fundamentals, create their own game assets including sound effects and story elements, and understand how creative teams bring a game from concept to execution using industry tools. The curriculum also integrates hands-on coding instruction, leadership development in partnership with Lean In Girls, and wellness activities. The camp culminates in a capstone project where participants showcase their self-built games to peers and industry professionals, fostering confidence and providing a clear picture of potential careers in game design, engineering, or production.

A typical day includes arrival and breakfast, an icebreaker activity, two hands-on coding sessions focused on game design, lunch and social time, a guest speaker or mentor session, and a daily survey and wrap-up.
