Camp PlayWELL at the Poe Center offers a fully-immersive summer health-science day camp experience for rising 1st-5th graders. Activities include cooking and trying new foods, growing produce in the GrowWELL Garden, exploring body systems through interactive exhibits, and building social and emotional skills. Children participate in unique physical activities and games, utilize body-systems-themed teaching theaters, and enjoy outdoor play at PlayWELL Park. Camp hours are 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., with doors opening at 8:30 a.m. A typical day involves hands-on health-science, gardening, and culinary activities, high-energy games and movement in body-systems-themed teaching theaters, and outdoor play at PlayWELL Park.
