The Explore@UNC - Exercise and Sport Science program offers high school students an immersive, one-week, on-campus experience to delve into the field of exercise and sport science. Participants explore various degree paths within the discipline, including Exercise & Sport Science (BS/BA), Fitness Professional (BA), and Sport Administration (BA). The program emphasizes hands-on learning, allowing students to tour state-of-the-art research labs, sports medicine centers, and campus recreation facilities. Students meet with UNC faculty, current students, and alumni, gaining insights into potential career trajectories and the high-impact experiences available to EXSS students, such as research, internships, and study abroad opportunities.
