Snapology camps uniquely combine hands-on STEAM education with popular LEGO® bricks and technology, making learning enjoyable and memorable for children.
Snapology's Robotics Camps using LEGO® Bricks introduce children to the exciting world of robotics, computer programming, and engineering through hands-on activities. Campers build and code robots using LEGO® bricks, fostering confidence and problem-solving skills. Activities include creating robotic models inspired by real-life technologies, such as alarm devices, earthquake detectors, and robotic arms, using LEGO® Spike Prime. Students also engage in challenges like robot sports, building and programming robots to compete in races and games, and completing missions using remote controls. The curriculum emphasizes teamwork and collaboration through group projects and encourages creative problem-solving and critical thinking. Children learn about gear ratios, sensors, simple machines, and programming concepts in an engaging and fun environment.
A typical day includes early drop-off and LEGO® free play, followed by two distinct Snapology programs (one in the morning and one in the afternoon) with a lunch break in between, and concludes with additional play time and late pick-up options.
This camp is ideal for children who enjoy building, are curious about technology and engineering, and want to develop problem-solving and teamwork skills in a fun, hands-on environment.
